What am I signing myself up for?

Here is an in-depth look at what Camp Mustache Australia 2020 will involve, so you can be sure it's the event for you before tickets are released on 12th January 2020. First and foremost, the weekend is about community and connection. Through meeting other Mustachians, we can form networks to share information, ideas, support and friendship.

Many of us are keen for more knowledge to improve our lifestyles and our finances to help us on our way to FIRE. To satiate this appetite there will be a range of presentations over the weekend with topics so far including superannuation, psychological skills for financial independence, frugal food and stories from those at different stages of their FI journey. To ensure we get outdoors and enjoy the beauty of Lennox Head, there will be a guided morning walk to Pat Moreton Lookout, movement session, and space in the schedule for impromptu group activities on the adjacent playing field. As this weekend is DIY style, meals and accommodation will be the responsibility of campers and it is encouraged to bring along your food of choice to join in picnic style meal breaks. Bonding over meals can sometimes be the highlight of people's camp experiences. Saturday evening however, will be your night off and dinner will be catered for at the venue, food truck style. CMA2020 will be an organised and relaxed weekend with the opportunity to learn, share, move, put your feet in the sand (and hopefully the water too), and to connect with other bike riding, expenditure tracking, ETF investing, non spendy-pants Mustachians. Tickets for the event will be capped and available on a first in, first served basis from 12pm (AEDT) on 12 January 2020. Information about the release of these tickets will be published within the Mustachians Australia Facebook group and on this website. So if all of this sounds up your alley, come along for a weekend of play with your frugal friends :-)
